Behind The Scenes
We are a full female crew working together to bring this film to the screen. To tell an intimate story about women, friendship and issues that affect the female body requires an environment that is supportive and that is easier to create when you all have similar experiences. That's why we have a female crew!
It is also very cool to say that every step, from pre-production to post-production has been done by women. And we are so proud of everyone that has been a part of this journey!

Female friendships on screen are often weakened by real-life challenges. But not in this case, this friendship is instead strengthened as Kristina and Astrid find a way to overcome differences. This is the story we want to tell and to we want portray strong friendship, the way it is in life. We also want to humanize women and the choices they make about their own bodies. Which is even more important in today's climate. We want to empower women!
Is to make a great film that is visually and creatively interesting, but that also tells a story about women and friendship, that isn’t the norm on screen.
We know that this is a controversial project, in many ways. But that's also why we feel it's so important to make it.
Our longterm goal is to submit to festivals. And as we are a very diverse and international crew, we hope to screen internationally as well as in the US.
